I was a customer of Churchland K9 for quite a while when I had my dog Coze. The staff there are amazing and will go above and beyond with your dogs. The pups will never be left bored and will always have something to do. If you have a dog that has any spacific issues they’ll find a program to help your pup get past them. Each dog is individually evaluated up on first time admission to the center so the owners know what kind of personality he or she may have and what kind of quirks as well. I highly reccomend this facility to anyone looking for a daycare, boarder, or trainer.

I love bringing my dog out here. I live in OV Norfolk and will make the drive out here because I LOVE IT and my puppy does too. I have used daycare and boarding at other places but find Churchland K9 to be the best for my dog. The owners are very experienced with training dogs so all of the hard work that I put into training him are reinforced. (Side note: my dog is an 108 lb one year old puppy, so it’s EXTREMELY important to me and my partner that he doesn’t jump on people and is gentle with smaller dogs). When my dog comes back from other daycare’s and boarding, he become a rule breaker for a few days and jump on us and anyone that walks into the house. I bring him to Churchland for the day or weekend. I’ve also had him groomed here the past 3 times and have never had any issues. He come back squeaky clean, exhausted, and happy. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Churchland K9! I have used their training, boarding, daycare and grooming services and they are all terrific. Both of the owners are true dog lovers and are so knowledgeable. And both are wonderful trainers! I brought my 10 yr old Jack Russell terrier to them for their two week training session. We previously believed he was untrainable at his age but Lisa and Victoria proved us wrong. After a matter of days his behavior had completely changed. He was less dominant and was able to listen to commands well. Everyone who has been around since says he’s a changed dog and with a baby on the way I couldn’t be more grateful that I now have a better behaved dog on my hands. My dog also previously was so anxious he couldn’t be boarded but he successfully boarded at Churchland K9. They also helped with his socialization skills and now he happily participates in their doggie daycare. I also used the groomer who was wonderful with my dog and groomed him exactly like I asked. And unlike many groomers in the area she really handled my dog well. If you are looking for a great place for your dog this is the place!!!– Delice B
LOVE LOVE LOVE Churchland K9. The owners are experienced and are great with the dogs. I use the daycare for my dog – she loves it – she gets so happy when I drop her off. And I feel good the dogs are well supervised and exercised. It’s great coming home to a tired, happy dog. Many times pictures from the days activities are posted on facebook which I enjoy seeing. I have taken training classes and am so happy I did – worth every penny!! My dog and I both learned alot and now I have a well behaved dog. It is obvious the owners love what they do. Churchland K9 boarded six dogs for me for four days, one that had to be expressed twice a day because she was down and spent most of her time in a cart. Four of these dogs were my personal dogs and there is no one else I would trust with their care. The other two are rescues and have special needs and their needs were met professionally and completely. They came back to me, happy, fresh and clean, probably better than when they were dropped off.Here you have the two best dog trainers in the area under one roof. I have watched at least five dogs with no chance of a future have their lives turned around and be adopted so that they could live out their lives in loving homes.
The atmosphere is bright, cheerful and clean and any dog would be lucky to spend time here.
